FIRST PRIZE

  • Cash award of $6,000
  • Performance with the St. Petersburg Symphony, St. Petersburg, Russia. This includes paid round trip from any country of the world and accommodation in St. Petersburg. The concert will take place during 2009-2010 concert season.
  • Recording of a solo CD for Classical Records in Moscow, Russia
  • Performance at Carnegie Hall/Weill Recital Hall on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 8:00 pm
  • Recital at the Louisiana Piano Series International, Natchitoches, LA, USA
  • Recital at the Bach Concert Series, Alexandria, LA, USA

SECOND PRIZE

  • Cash award of $3,000
  • Performance at Carnegie Hall/Weill Recital Hall on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 8:00 pm

THIRD PRIZE

  • Cash award of $1,500
  • Performance at Carnegie Hall/Weill Recital Hall on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 8:00 pm

SPECIAL PRIZES

  • Audience award ($500)
  • Additional awards may be announced for selected contestants at the end of the competition.

All prizes listed will be awarded.

Prizes and Awards will be announced and presented immediately following the Final round with the Rapides Symphony Orchestra at the closing ceremony of the competition on October 17, 2009.
