applications are confidential, and each applicant will be notified
by email of his or her acceptance or non-acceptance as a competitor
by September 1, 2011. All accepted competitors' names will
be posted on our website.

Along
with the completed application form, please submit the following:
1.
A copy of applicants birth certificate or equivalent proof
of age
2. A photograph in high-resolution JPEG file by email (lacompetition@gmail.com)
3. A short biography with clear indication of academic degrees and
artistic achievement
4. A recent, unidentified CD recording of the applicant's performance
of all the music chosen for the first round of the competition (see
repertoire requirements)
5. A non-refundable application fee of $100.00 in a cashier's check
or money order (no personal checks) made out to the Louisiana International
Piano Competition. International participants from outside of the
USA can send a cashier's check in the U.S. currency, that can be
obtained from their local bank. You can also pay here by paypal
or credit card.
