All applications are confidential, and each applicant will be notified by email of his or her acceptance or non-acceptance as a competitor by September 1, 2011. All accepted competitors' names will be posted on our website.

  • Right-Click on the link below to save the application to your hard drive, choose "Save Target As.." or "Save Link As...", and choose a location on your computer to save it to. Open the file by double-clicking on it and then print it out.

Artist Level Application

Louisiana International Piano Competition Application is in Adobe® PDF file format. To view and print the application, you need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® software that can be downloaded FREE at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html .

Along with the completed application form, please submit the following:

1. A copy of applicant’s birth certificate or equivalent proof of age
2. A photograph in high-resolution JPEG file by email (lacompetition@gmail.com)
3. A short biography with clear indication of academic degrees and artistic achievement
4. A recent, unidentified CD recording of the applicant's performance of all the music chosen for the first round of the competition (see repertoire requirements)
5. A non-refundable application fee of $100.00 in a cashier's check or money order (no personal checks) made out to the Louisiana International Piano Competition. International participants from outside of the USA can send a cashier's check in the U.S. currency, that can be obtained from their local bank. You can also pay here by paypal or credit card.
